The Spring Glee

And then you watch out for the spluttering of sun-rays among clouds...
A weapon that cuts through even the bitterest of winters
As the bountiful rain delightfully floods a wretched, suffered land...
As a bright horizon inspires one to run through the cold and gleam together with the basking sun
Welcoming the spring and greens, tulips and daisies, joy and morning luster
It's not about that rare gem in a thousand brilliant ones, but about raw gold dust on bare ground
Cause no one, not even nature appreciates, that fire lights up without wearing of stones...
Or diamonds sparkle raw as taken from earth...

An Evening Well Savored and The Piquancy of Life.....

Well they say, events when unplanned and done straight from the heart are the ultimate source of happiness, and experiences of a forever kind....The "life-at-the-moment" often is a recourse from the humdrum routine of life, and a chalice-full for rejuvenating the soul. "Chalice-full" cause the experiences, whatever they may be, everyone fills with a drink equally invigorating and soul-drenching.

The "safe-keepers" of the contemporary societal necessities often have a word of criticism for acts of spontaneity. More often than not, those in the "ten on ten" upkeep with such necessities brings about a sense of vainglory. Of being a success in the safe-keepers eyes, devoid of all criticism. But where's the happiness when each act of one's is a conformatory to a guidebook.

Be it going in for bungee jumping on  a bright Sunday morning, or taking to European music, making origami dolls and quill-ed flowers on an evening after work, "art-on-the roll" is a good way to bust stress, and stimulates the creative buds. Spontaneity was never about looking your best at a P3 party, or having the best collection of handbags and Swatch watches. Greed only leads to dissatisfaction, on achievement of the subject of interest and farther. True contentment comes not from material but from the imperceptible, maybe like learning a new cuisine, or a new sport never perfected in childhood.

As a happy ending to every theatrical, quoting Aishwarya Rai (on her post-motherhood-weight-gain critic-cacophony)

"Whenever there is the wave of opinions, and I've always said this, it's the truth--I'm sure you will endorse it since you know the facts as well--the haters are a drop in the ocean,"

If all the world's men and women adopted "the significantly insignificant" paradigm, the world would be a much happier place to live in.....

A Coffee-ful Life.....

I sit by the beach cafe, the rollercoaster
Of aqua blue waves, and the cream froth
On my cuppa of life
That pulling out sand and building sand castles
And a table top, and a girl and guy on a coffee date

Sans the restra plushness, reverting to the ocean's green
In the sand vision, two friends part
Over a cup of mochachino,
No adieu tears but only coffee bites
And memorial goodies

Hot cappucino, and a fun beach ride
There's more to coffee than the visual delight
Spilling its cold version
On to each other, a la celebratory scotch
N wine

And finally in soltitude, I sit back
And see the coffee fortune
That speaks of the magical beans
That predict and bring
A harvest of happiness

A Birthday Gift......

A scorching March dusk, a narrow street
A shaggy house, a rag-doll attire
A sweet young toddler, donning it
A la Gucci creation, and waving her hands
Like the princess with a golden chariot
The chariot which is an empty basket.....

There's happiness in the ginger-bread air
A joyful commotion in the smoky traffic
An enticing gourmet laid out with the loaf and marmalade
There's His affection in mum's tired eyes....

There's the whole world's love in the kids playing ball
Her birthday gift is the most precious, her best buddy
Who got her the loveliest tulips she'd seen in her life
By the stream that flows by in the backyard.....

For nothing more's divine than his friendship and care
And his smile more valuable than the biggest solitaire
May your special day get twice my joy
And the loveliest violets in everlasting dew.......

Guns n Roses

The prints washed away on sand, shout out memories loud
The scathes of a pitfall become the reason for rise
A loved one's hurting makes a durable soul and heart
Sometimes agony is the medicine of a bleeding life
Sometimes loving the wound eases all pain and strife
Sometimes roses are not the only romance
And what's more important is what throws out the fear
Sometimes giving brings in more gratification
Which plundering the happiness of the whole world cannot
Sometimes the scorching sun of a lifetime is the cure for a febrile existence

On the rooftop.......

Shimmering Shanghai lights
The dazzling fireworks in the sky
The glitterati of the diamond city
The folks passing by
I search for brightness
In this heavenly lit-sky

For the sky is in my line of sight
My search for the twinkling star
Ends hundreds of feet below
Yet high.....
The faded star amongst the pitch blackness
Calls me heart to heart
I wish you had more brightness
down there
However faded though I seem to you
My faintness' sparkle is more than
that of your eyes
I wish you had more love
And had the blindness that sees beyond the
lucid eyes...

Etcetra....

Running away from reality in the arms of solace
Raised a toast on a cloud of emoti(c)ons
Could relive that moment again, what luck...
Trying to text you the range of feelings I went through,
What went wrong...........

Fumbled through those buttons and fingers
Just too short of words....
The heart brimming, yet the mind completely blank

O freak....what a waste.....
Some things are best left in a sphagetti-bundle,
In a Pandora's box with the key thrown offshore
never to be opened,
Like a li'l black window, where nobody can reach the heart's depth
Like a dying bud whose petals would never see light
Coz some things are best left unspoken
And just felt in the eyes

And I simply write....
Gud nite. Tc :).

For a love long lost....

[This are the lyrics that bring out the essence of a lost true love.....strikes a chord with those who share a feeling of a love long lost]

This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know

That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know

So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know

I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go

A Path's Story

The trail speaks volumes of
who trudged its rocks, stones, hedges, bushes....
its "physical soul".....
Who touched its existence as a Testing Guide
Who dined and flied the Tree-house Taverns and discovered
That losing everything is sometimes the greatest pleasure...
in the autumn of its trees.
And the inexpressible feeling of rejuvenation
when the rainwater washes them.......more than a spa could provide....a reincarnated soul.
Believing in Change is the only thing Permanent......a rusty traveller stamping or a delicate maiden passing by....
The sunlight washing its feet with warmth and light...
Or the scary yet beautiful moonlit darkness...with its black sheen cover....reminder of yet another dawn.

Of its conventionality as the Chosen Path
Or its "sweet" brutality as the Road Not Taken
For with the flow of Love, Life, Existence, Conscience,
this Enchantment Leads Me to Paradise.

About Me, About Life....

"Beyond these blue eyes which see only colors apart and mesmerise, there's this blindness of the soul that perceives the world as a motley of philosophies, emotions, relationships, all in the palette of life."

Life's for me, sometimes a crystal stair, with the joy of incessant climbing rediscovered on the surface of beauty; an apple pie, with the whipped cream of experiences, virtues and vices, and sometimes the peaceful sea shore, with the gushing waters by my feet as the only companion in solitude.......

Through the lanes of childhood, the corridors of innocence, those times to stand and stare; ascending to the adolescence stage, a riot of conflicting emotions, a hurt heart, and a fire to succeed; and embarking on a journey taking all in stride, there's a me that maps these on a beautiful canvas.......there are no blotches or stains of failure or bitterness, they all amalgamate with the "happy hours" to a form a perfect picture, which would have been incomplete without them.

I'm just another human being, and a seeker of beauty within the microscopic of things; a dew drop on a green-yellow leaf; not another drop lost but as if a pearl gained, a pink bud opening into a flourishing flower; an exemplification of maturity and wisdom, the distant sun at dawn and the reddish hue of the sky, not a violent but inspiring streak.

I believe that nothing's lost until you kindle the perseverance and ambition in you. A Leo to the core, I believe that pride is not inherent, it is something to be earned as honour......Honesty and selflessness, are the stand-outs among human qualities........for a world and the change we want to see..........

Tranquillity calling........

Among the metros, the skyscrapers tall,
The hustling traffic, the bustling mall,
A mark ever so symbolic of the civilization great
Yet life so racy, fleeting, fast-paced,
I hear tranquillity calling............

A whim fulfilled, a dream accomplished,
A sensex rise, a novice biz-king fished,
A maglev train, a jet airplane,
The distances large now seemingly small
Yet the minute partitions an eternal barricade wall

A fashion fiesta, a page -3 regular,
A ramp scorcher, a controversy caller,
A corporate big-wig, an enterprise merger,
All relationships under the financial SUN,
The roots, the Rearer no heed, no bother,
Yet a blossoming flower, an emerging spring
I hear tranquillity calling’......

A screeching alarm, a run-up of chores,
A morning hooter, a sprint to the work ores
A dash from the pracs, a race to the meetin’s,
An aimless schedule, a life heeding futile,
Yet the breeze hittin’ by, the face bright, resolute,
The calm of the psyche, the heart,
The race with Time, the singular truth till eternity
An inexpressible content, a battle lost yet won....
I hear tranquillity calling.
